Porsche India sales 2023

Porsche India has announced record annual sales of 914 cars last year, which is a 17 percent increase over CY2022’s (January-December) 779 units and 64 percent rise over CY2021. Last year's sales included the highest number of Taycan deliveries to date – 113 units – while also maintaining its legacy 911 sports coupe's clientele with a record 65 deliveries.

  1. Porsche India records 17 percent year-on-year growth
  2. BEVs comprised over 12 percent with 113 units of Taycan
  3. Two new dealerships coming up in the first half of 2024

Porsche India sales in 2023

Porsche hasn’t sold as many units of the 911 in any given year as it has of the Taycan last year. Unsurprisingly, the Cayenne and the Macan, being SUVs, comprised the bulk of the sales.

“2023 was another strong year for Porsche India where sales of every model played a significant factor in our encouraging result,” said Manolito Vujicic, brand director, Porsche India. “It sets a good benchmark for 2024 which will see several new products being launched as well as expansion to our retail network.”

On that note, Porsche India plans to open two new showrooms in Pune and Hyderabad in the first half of this year; the company currently has eight dealerships across the country.

Porsche India 2023 highlights

Porsche and Autocar India also set new ICE and EV production car lap records at the Buddh International Circuit with the 911 GT3 RS and the Taycan, respectively. The brand also celebrated 75 years of Porsche with the Festival of Dreams earlier in 2023, and treated its customers to an unforgettable few days at the Porsche Ice Experience in Levi, Finland. We also got to experience the same, and you can read more about it here.
