For 2024, Harley-Davidson has given its flagship adventure bike, the Pan America 1250 Special, the Custom Vehicle Operations treatment for the first time ever. An exclusive paint scheme, bidirectional quickshifter, and luggage and protective accessories are the biggest changes over the standard model.

While it retains the same bodywork, the Pan America CVO receives a vibrant paint scheme. The base black coat gets bright orange and white accents that are quite eye-catching. The orange accents cascade over the entire bike, descending onto the crashguard and even extends behind to the sub-frame. There is a plain weave carbon-fibre-like finish on the engine cover and exhaust cover, in addition to the seat being covered with fabric that mimics the design of a carbon-fibre weave.
The CVO version of the adventure-tourer is the only one to come with a bidirectional quickshifter, a first on any road-going Harley-Davidson model. The Pan America CVO receives an extensive array of accessories that includes an aluminium bash plate, a full luggage set and auxiliary lights. Furthermore, the bike also retains key features of the Pan America 1250 Special, including adaptive ride-height adjustment and and tubeless spoke wheels.
Powering the Pan America 1250 CVO is the same liquid-cooled, 1,252cc, V-Twin that produces 152hp and 128Nm. Like every other CVO, this too will be priced at a premium over the bike it is based on.
