You could start-off 2019 with a brand-new Harley-Davidson! While you could have done the same last year as well, Harley’s popular Street 750 and Street Rod are now being offered with huge discounts across the country, making 2019 the year to fulfil your American fantasies. Taking this generous discount into account, it is likely that the bikes will sell-out sooner than you can say ‘Harley-Davidson Street 750.’ Discounts vary from city to city and the offers are valid until stocks last.

    DELHI

Dealers in Delhi are offering discounts of Rs 81,000 on the Street 750, bringing its price down to Rs 4.60 lakh from the original Rs 5.41 lakh. The sportier Street Rod is being offered with discounts of Rs 1 lakh, which means that its price will go down from Rs 6.61 lakh and cost you Rs 5.80 lakh instead. The colours currently available (on discount) for the Street 750 are red, matte black and gloss black, with the gloss black being Rs 10,000 cheaper. The Street Rod is available in grey, gloss black and yellow. These offers are valid in Delhi only until December 15, 2018.

    MUMBAI

In Mumbai, the Street 750’s price excluding discounts is Rs 5.31 lakh. Discounts offered vary between either a cash amount of Rs 50,000 along with Rs 30,000 in accessories, or the full cash discount of Rs 80,000; which gets you the bike for Rs 4.51 lakh after discount. The discount can even be applied in conjunction with a zero-percent interest loan. The Street Rod is on sale for Rs 6.51 lakh. After discount, though, you can get it for Rs 5.71 lakh. In Mumbai, this offer is valid until December 31, 2018.

    BENGALURU

Prices for the Street 750 in Bengaluru start at Rs 5.31 lakh; and with a discount of Rs 70,000 being offered, the bike can be bought for Rs 4.61 lakh. The Street Rod, priced at Rs 6.51 lakh, will cost you Rs 5.81 lakh after discount. In Bengaluru, too, the offer is valid until December 31, 2018.

    CHENNAI

In Chennai, the Street 750 now flaunts a discounted price of Rs 4.75 lakh – that’s Rs 75,000 slashed off its Rs 5.50 lakh price tag. Meanwhile, the Street Rod can be had for between Rs 5.45-5.75 lakh – a significant drop from its original Rs 6.20-6.50 lakh price tag. Here, the offer is valid up until December 25, 2018 only.

    HYDERABAD

Hyderabad is offering the highest discount – Rs 89,000 – for the Street 750. While the Street 750’s original price tag was set at Rs 5.31 lakh, you can now pick one up for Rs 4.49 lakh. The Street Rod 750 has been on sale for Rs 6.61 lakh so far, and after a Rs 52,000 discount, you can pick it up for Rs 6.09 lakh. As confirmed to us by the dealer, the Hyderabad offers are valid until December 25, 2018.

This move clearly indicates some amount of pressure building, courtesy the newly launched Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. The new RE twins offer 650cc twin-cylinder engines with performance which is not too dissimilar to that offered by Harley’s entry-level duo at a significantly lower price tag than anything else offered so far – neither by Harley-Davidson, nor by Triumph, with its Bonneville range. Stay tuned for more updates.
