For December, Tata Motors is offering discounts of up to Rs 65,000 on some of its models like the Harrier, Safari, Tigor, Tiago and the Altroz. The carmaker is also offering price reductions on the CNG versions of the Tigor and Tiago. However, like last month, there are still no discounts on the Punch and Nexon, or on any of Tata’s EV models.
Tata Safari
Up to Rs 65,000 off
The brand’s flagship model, the Safari, gets a total discount of Rs 65,000 on all of its variants, which includes Rs 40,000 exchange benefits. Powering the Safari is a sole 170hp, 2.0-litre diesel engine that gets 6-speed manual and automatic gearbox options. The three-row SUV’s strengths lie in its impressive road presence, space – especially in the third row – performance, and good ride and handling balance.
Tata Harrier
Up to Rs 65,000 off
Like the Safari, the Harrier also gets a discount of Rs 65,000 for the month of December. The Harrier shares the same powertrain and underpinnings as the three-row SUV counterpart and scores high with its spacious interior, tough build quality and smooth automatic transmission. The Harrier competes with the likes of the MG Hector.
Tata Tiago
Up to Rs 40,000 off
Buyers interested in the Tiago can avail total benefits of Rs 40,000 on both petrol and CNG variants of the hatchback. In its petrol avatar, the Tiago is powered by an 86hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine paired to either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox. The CNG-powered Tiago, on the other hand, makes 70hp in CNG mode and 86hp in petrol-only mode and comes paired only to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Tata Tigor
Up to Rs 35,000 off
The Tigor compact sedan is available with total discounts of Rs 35,000 on both its petrol and CNG variants. The Tigor shares its powertrain with the Tiago hatchback and is a spacious compact sedan with good ride and handling balance. It rivals cars like the Honda Amaze and Maruti Suzuki Dzire.
Tata Altroz
Up to Rs 35,000 off
Tata’s stylish premium hatchback can be had with total discounts of Rs 35,000 on its diesel variants, while Tata is offering total benefits of Rs 20,000 on its petrol-manual variants. The newly launched petrol automatic can be had with total benefits of Rs 30,000. The Altroz rivals the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai i20 and Toyota Glanza, and is available with two petrol and one diesel powertrain option.
