The Mahindra Thar has been the top-selling lifestyle SUV in India since its arrival back in 2020. The high demand has resulted in long waiting periods that even stretched to over a year for few variants in the past. However, an increase in production as well as higher average monthly deliveries has helped the carmaker reduce the waiting period significantly. The 4x4 variants now have a waiting period of up to 3 months, while the 4x2 version has a waiting period of just over 2 months.
