Mahindra dealers across the country are offering some lucrative deals on the brand’s range of SUVs and people movers, ranging from the KUV100 NXT up to the XUV500. Depending on the model selected, buyers can avail of benefits and discounts ranging from Rs 10,000 to Rs 85,000.

Here is a look at the benefits on offer:

Mahindra TUV300, TUV300 Plus

Benefits up to Rs 85,000
With the introduction of the TUV300 facelift, Mahindra is offering benefits of up to Rs 85,000 on the pre-facelift models in order to clear stocks from dealerships. Powered by a 100hp, 1.5-litre, three-cylinder diesel motor, the older TUV300 offers seating for up to seven (it gets jump seats in the boot) and is offered with the choice of a manual or AMT gearboxes – the latter depending on the availability of stocks. Those looking at the larger and more powerful TUV300 Plus can avail of benefits of up to Rs 70,000. Compared to the standard TUV, the Plus is longer than the former and is powered by Mahindra’s 120hp, 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine.

Mahindra KUV100 NXT

Benefits up to Rs 75,000
The entry point to Mahindra’s range, the KUV100 NXT is being offered with benefits of up to Rs 75,000. Offered in either a five- or six-seat layout depending on the variant (the base K2 is a six-seater only), the KUV can be had with either an 83hp, 1.2-litre petrol or a 78hp, 1.2-litre diesel engine, both paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Mahindra KUV100 NXT rivals the likes of the Maruti Ignis and the Ford Freestyle.

Mahindra XUV500

Benefits up to Rs 65,000
Mahindra dealers are offering benefits of up to Rs 65,000 – inclusive of discounts and an exchange bonus – on its XUV500 SUV. A rival to the likes of the Tata Hexa, the Mahindra XUV500 can be had with either a 155hp, 2.2-litre diesel engine paired with either a manual or automatic gearbox or with a 140hp, 2.2-litre petrol paired solely with an automatic gearbox. The diesel engine is available across all trim levels and gets the option of all-wheel-drive while the petrol is available in a single variant.

Mahindra Scorpio

Benefits up to Rs 60,000
The Scorpio has been around for quite a while now, and the introduction of newer rivals over the years has begun eating away at the SUVs market share. For the month of May, select showrooms are offering benefits of up to Rs 60,000 on the SUV. The Mahindra Scorpio is available with a choice of two diesel engines – a 2.5-litre diesel available on the base trim and a 2.2-litre diesel available in two states of tune paired with either a 5-speed or 6-speed manual gearbox. Top variants can also be had with all-wheel-drive.

Mahindra Marazzo

Benefits up to Rs 40,000
A rival to the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, the Marazzo can now be had with benefits of up to Rs 40,000. Available in four variants – each comes in seven- and eight-seat layouts – the Mahindra Marazzo is powered by a sole 123hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard.

Mahindra Bolero Power Plus

Benefits up to Rs 30,000
The Bolero has long been a favourite for buyers looking for a budget SUV capable of seating seven. Compared to the standard Bolero, the Power Plus offers the added benefit of falling under the four-metre mark, thus making it less expensive to buy. Compared to the Bolero, the compact SUV also uses a smaller but more powerful 71hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine. The utilitarian SUV can be had with benefits of up to Rs 30,000.

Mahindra is looking to upgrade its SUV in the coming months to comply with emissions and safety norms including meeting upcoming crash test standards, when they come into effect.

Mahindra Thar

Benefits up to Rs 10,000
The Thar appeals to those buyers looking for a traditional-looking 4x4 SUV, and to those who want to buy a proper off-roader. The model sees a fair share of demand, with Mahindra dealers only offering benefits of up to Rs 10,000. Despite the onset of new safety regulations, the Mahindra Thar has not yet been updated to meet them.

However, the current Thar is set to receive a last-hurrah special edition model in the coming months that will get safety features in-line with the new regulations. The model will then be discontinued before the crash test norms come into place in October this year. An all-new Thar is expected to debut next year.
