Mercedes-Benz A-class Hatchback Review

The Mercedes AMG A45 S gets the full AMG styling treatment, including the Panamericana grille and an aggressively styled bumper with large air dams and an integrated splitter. However, the hot hatchback can be a handful on our roads due to its low ride and stiff suspension. Performance is where the A45 S excels, thanks to the 421hp, 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine that allows it to achieve 0-100kph in just 4.17 seconds. Despite the feature packed interior and decent luggage space, the A45 S’s rear seat isn’t the most comfortable or spacious. For those looking for serious, hard-edged performance at a not-so-stratospheric price, the A45 S is in a segment of one.
