Kia India has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ORIX Auto Infrastructure Services Limited to launch a new leasing service for the Sonet, Seltos and Carens, with different mileage and time-period options.

    1. Insurance and maintenance included in the cost
    2. Leasing period can span between 24 and 60 months

Here’s a look at the minimum monthly leasing charges for the Sonet, Seltos and Carens:

    SonetRs 21,900
    SeltosRs 28,900
    CarensRs 28,800

Customers can opt for tenures spanning from 24 to 60 months with different mileage options. The price is inclusive of insurance and maintenance costs, and does not require any down payment. In its first phase, Kia has launched the leasing service in the following cities: Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru and Pune.

Additionally, at the end of the lease period, customers will have the option to either return or renew the existing vehicle or upgrade to a newer one as per their requirements and preferences. This will also benefit Kia by improving their sales.

Leasing services are picking up in India with several mass-market carmakers such as Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Honda, Skoda and Volkswagen offering the same. In fact, some of these carmakers have partnered with ORIX themselves for their leasing services. Even luxury carmakers such as Mercedes-Benz and BMW offer leasing services.
