Prices for the Citroen C3 automatic have been revealed a little over a month after the French brand announced a significant feature update for the high-riding hatchback. Only available in top-spec Shine form, the C3 automatic is priced between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 10.27 lakh.

    1. Citroen C3 automatic available in four variants
    2. 6-speed AT and 110hp, 1.2 turbo-petrol shared with Basalt

As we had reported earlier, Citroen offers the C3 Turbo automatic in Shine (Rs 10 lakh), Shine Vibe Pack (Rs 10.12 lakh), Shine Dual Tone (Rs 10.15 lakh), and Shine Dual Tone Vibe Pack (Rs 10.27 lakh) variants. The Dual Tone variants get a two-tone exterior finish, while the Vibe Pack adds a few cosmetic changes to the C3. As the C3 Turbo is available in Shine Dual Tone (Rs 9.30 lakh) and Shine Dual Tone Vibe Pack (Rs 9.42 lakh) variants, the equivalent automatics cost about Rs 85,000 more.

The features list is the same as the manual variant, including LED projector headlamps, electrically adjustable wing mirrors with integrated turn signals, automatic climate control, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.2-inch infotainment touchscreen and six airbags. However, the C3 Turbo AT gets connected car tech via the MyCitroen Connect smartphone app.

The C3 uses the same 110hp, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine as the Basalt and C3 Aircross, and the same 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox.

At this price point, the C3 automatic is priced above the Tata Punch (Rs 7.60 lakh-10 lakh), but less than the Hyundai Exter (Rs 8.23 lakh-10.43 lakh). Do note that the Hyundai and Tata get a 5-speed AMT rather than the more sophisticated torque convertor automatic seen on the Citroen.
