A RELIABLE CHOICE

I am looking for a car that is safe, comfortable and can seat five people, while being fuel-efficient. My usage is less than 500km per month and I have shortlisted the Tata Nexon (petrol), Altroz (petrol), Maruti Suzuki S-Cross and the Vitara Brezza. Please suggest a value for money car.

The S-Cross is a segment above the cars you have shortlisted, and will suit your requirement of ferrying five passengers comfortably better than the others, as the rear seat has the maximum width and legroom. The fuel efficiency isn’t as good as the Altroz or the Vitara Brezza, but since you will be travelling only 500km a month, the impact of the slightly higher consumption will be marginal. It is also a solid and reliable car that should give you trouble-free service.
