Tata Motors is offering big discounts on some of its cars and SUVs for April. The Tiago, Tigor, Harrier and Safari can be had with exchange bonuses, cash offers and corporate discounts. The offers are available for Model Year 2021 (MY2021) and MY2022 models, with both enjoying equal benefits. However, there are no offers on the Nexon EV, Tigor EV and the Punch.
- Tata Harrier has the highest discount for April
- CNG variants of the Tigor and Tiago do not get any benefits
- Tata Punch misses out on offers too
Tata Harrier - save up to Rs 65,000
Tata’s handsome SUV comes with a sole 170hp, 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine paired to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Known for its spacious cabin and good dynamics, the Harrier rivals cars like the MG Hector. In April, customers can avail benefits of up to Rs 65,000, including Rs 40,000 exchange bonus for all variants.
Tata Safari - save up to Rs 45,000
The Safari comes with the same 2.0-litre diesel engine as the Harrier, and the larger SUV rivals the likes of the Mahindra XUV700, MG Hector Plus and Hyundai Alcazar. It comes with six and seven seat options, with one of the most spacious third rows in the segment. Benefits of up to Rs 45,000 are available on the Safari for all variants. However, there is no corporate discount available on the SUV.
Tata Tigor - save up to Rs 31,500
The Tigor is popular for its value-for-money pricing and spacious cabin. The compact sedan rivals the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Honda Amaze and Hyundai Aura. It is powered by an 86hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox.
Tata is offering discounts of up to Rs 21,500 on the compact sedan. The XZ – and variants above that – get an additional Rs 10,000 off from the consumer scheme. Moreover, all the variants also get corporate discounts worth Rs 11,500. The carmaker, however, is not offering any discounts on the CNG variants of the sedan.
Tata Tiago - save up to Rs 31,500
Tata’s Tiago hatchback is a sibling of the Tigor with an identical engine, gearbox and equipment list. A rival to cars like the Hyundai Santro and Maruti Suzuki Wagon R, the Tiago has also secured a commendable 4-star Global NCAP crash test rating.
The benefits offered on the Tiago are the same as the Tigor – buyers can avail discounts of up to Rs 31,500, including a corporate discount up to Rs 11,500 on all variants of the hatchback. The carmaker, however, is not offering any discounts on the CNG variants of the hatchback.
Tata Nexon - save up to Rs 10,000
The Nexon sits in the heavily crowded compact SUV segment where it rivals the likes of the Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue and Mahindra XUV300. The SUV is powered by a 110hp, 1.5-litre turbo-diesel and a 120hp, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, both of which get manual and AMT gearbox options.
Tata is offering corporate benefits of Rs 6,000 for the petrol-powered Nexon, and Rs 10,000 for the diesel. There are no other benefits available for the compact SUV.
It must be noted that while the Altroz has no corporate discounts or exchange benefits, certain State Bank of India (SBI) customers can avail a small discount of Rs 3,000 on the hatchback.
