Jeep Grand Cherokee: design, interior and features

The new Grand Cherokee is sold in two versions abroad, but India will get only the standard five-seat version and not the larger three-row Grand Cherokee L. The SUV comes with features like a 10.1-inch touchscreen at the centre and a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster. It even gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen for the front passenger.

Additionally, the Grand Cherokee is equipped with ADAS tech like forward collision warning, emergency braking for pedestrians and adaptive cruise control. Other features include premium leather upholstery and a panoramic sunroof.

Jeep Grand Cherokee: powertrain

The last-gen Grand Cherokee was offered with both petrol and diesel engines in India, but the new model will only come with a single 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. The engine will be paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission. However, Jeep is yet to announce the power outputs for the engine. The new SUV gets the Quadra-Trac I 4x4 System and gets selectable terrain modes.
