The second-generation Toyota Glanza does a much better job of distinguishing itself from its Suzuki counterpart. The new 1.2-litre engine is peppy and the ride quality from the all-new suspension is superb. That said, it's a shame you don't get any more engine options like some rivals - or the previous Glanza - offered, and the move from a CVT to AMT auto gearbox feels like a step backwards. The added safety and new equipment are sure to be a big draw for buyers, and move this, alongside the Baleno, to near the top of the premium hatchback segment.
