Toyota Rumion
The Rumion is Toyotaโs smallest MPV in India, sitting below the likes of the Innova Crysta and Innova Hycross. It is a badge-engineered version of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. The Toyota Rumion price in India starts at โน10.44 lakh and goes up โน13.62 lakh, (ex-showroom). At this price point, it rivals its own siblings, the Maruti Ertiga and the XL6, as well as the Kia Carens and Carens Clavis. The Rumion is identical to its Maruti counterpart and that isnโt a bad thing at all, because the Ertiga is an extremely competent, practical and capable people mover.
The Toyota Rumion is available in 7 variants. The Toyota Rumion is available with a sole 1.5-litre, four-cylinder engine that can be had in both petrol and CNG spec. With petrol, this engine produces 103hp and 137Nm of torque, and is offered with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. In CNG spec, the engine produces 88hp and 121Nm, and only comes with a manual gearbox.
On the equipment front, the Rumion 1.5 Petrol V AT comes equipped halogen projector headlamps, dual-tone interior, 2nd-row centre armrest, remote keyless entry, 12V power sockets in the first and second row, electrically adjustable wing mirrors with integrated indicators, bottle holders in all rows, paddle shifters (AT only), automatic AC, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, wireless Android auto and Apple CarPlay, front fog lamps, connected car technology, 15-inch alloy wheels, engine push start/stop, cruise control and auto headlamps.
As standard, all variants of the Rumion MPV come with six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), hill hold assist, TPMS, ISOFIX child seat mounts (second row), seat belt reminder (All seats), rear parking sensor and a rear camera.
