Sales of the Mahindra XUV 3XO are definitely higher than those of its predecessor, the XUV300. In its best fiscal, FY2023, the pre-facelift compact SUV recorded an average monthly sales of just over 5,000 units, while in the last six months, the XUV 3XO averaged over 8,400 units per month. Incidentally, this also means waiting periods for Mahindra’s answer to the Tata Nexon and Hyundai Venue have increased significantly. Delivery times depend on the variant selected, so without further ado, here’s how long you can expect to wait for your new Mahindra XUV 3XO if it's booked today.
- Entry-level XUV 3XO MX1 has the longest waiting period
- Deliveries of mid-spec XUV 3XO AX5 petrol to take up to 8 months
- Nearly all diesel variants have waiting periods of about 1 month
Mahindra XUV 3XO variant-wise waiting periods | ||
---|---|---|
Trim | Petrol | Diesel |
MX1 | 1 year | - |
MX2/MX2 Pro | 7-8 months | 1 month |
MX3/MX3 Pro | 6-7 months | 1 month |
AX5 | 8 months | 1 month |
AX5 L | 2-3 months | - |
AX7 | 2 months | 1 month |
AX7 L | 2 months | 1 month |
Compared to last month, the wait times have increased significantly. The table above shows that the entry-level MX1 petrol has the longest delivery times, partially because Mahindra produces fewer units of this variant. The petrol-powered lower-spec MX2 and MX3 Pro variants have waiting periods of up to 7-8 months and 6-7 months, respectively, while delivery times for the mid-spec AX5 and AX5 L petrol stretch to 8 months and 2-3 months, respectively. Meanwhile, customers will have to wait just about 2 months for delivery of their top-spec AX7 and AX7 L petrol variants.
