    Nissan has launched the Magnite Turbo Geza Special Edition CVT in India at a starting price of Rs 9.84 lakh. Originally introduced in May last year, the Geza Special Edition was only available with the 1.0-litre petrol engine until now.

    Nissan Magnite Turbo Geza Special Edition CVT: what’s new

    The Geza Special Edition treatment has now been carried over to the Nissan Magnite Turbo, paired with the CVT automatic gearbox. Nissan says that the special edition model is inspired by Japanese theatre and focuses more on the musical experience. 

    The Magnite Turbo Geza Special Edition gets a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay with wireless connectivity, a premium JBL audio system, a rear camera with guidelines, ambient lighting with app controls, Geza edition badging and optional beige seat upholstery.

    Nissan Magnite powertrain

    The Geza Special Edition now gets the 1.0-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine making 100hp and 152Nm, mated to a CVT automatic. On the regular Magnite, this engine also offers a 5-speed MT that bumps the torque output up to 160Nm.

    Also on offer with the Magnite is a 72hp, 1.0-litre petrol engine that can be had with either a 5-speed manual or an optional 5-speed AMT.

    Nissan Magnite price, rivals

    The Nissan Magnite continues to be priced from Rs 6 lakh-11.27 lakh (ex-showroom). The compact SUV rivals the newly launched Mahindra XUV 3XO, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet and Toyota Taisor among others.
