Hyundai has officially taken the covers off the Grand i10 Nios facelift. As part of the mid-life cycle update, the hatchback now sports a refreshed exterior along with new additional tech and safety features. The Korean automaker has opened bookings for the facelifted hatchback at a token amount of Rs 11,000. Additionally, the refreshed Aura compact sedan is also available for booking and is expected to launch alongside the Grand i10 Nios facelift.

2023 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios facelift: exterior details
The biggest change is at the front where the Grand i10 Nios now gets a new front bumper that houses the enlarged grille which is finished in black. Integrated on either ends of the grille are the new tri-arrow-shaped LED DRLs along with the side intakes. Towards the side, the hatchback now gets a new set of 15-inch alloy wheels.
The other major update is at the back where the Grand i10 Nios now sports new LED tail-lights and are connected by a light bar. Hyundai is offering six colour options on the facelifted Grand i10 Nios – Polar White, Titan Grey, Typhoon Silver, Spark Green, Teal Blue and Fiery Red. Additionally, it also gets new dual-tone colour options – Spark Green with black roof and Polar White with black roof.

On the inside, the hatchback’s cabin layout remains the same but now features new grey upholstery for the seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, new lighting for the footwell and a metal finish on the inside of the door handles. While the Grand i10 Nios facelift retains the 8.0-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, rear AC vents, automatic climate control and a wireless charger, it now gets additional tech features.
These include automatic headlamps, Type-C USB ports, cruise control and a tyre pressure monitoring system. With an emphasis on safety, the facelifted Grand i10 Nios now gets four airbags, ABS and EBD as standard. Optional safety features include the like of six airbags, ESC, ISOFIX anchorages and a day/night rear view mirror.
2023 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios facelift: powertrain
The facelifted Grand i10 Nios sees no changes under the hood as it will continue to be powered by the same 1.2-litre petrol engine that churns out 83hp and 113.8Nm and is mated to a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox. Additionally, it also gets a factory-fitted CNG kit in the 1.2-litre petrol engine which develops 69hp and 95.2Nm of torque and is coupled to a 5-speed gearbox. However, the facelifted Grand i10 Nios does not get 100hp, 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine.
2023 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios facelift: rivals
With an expected price range of Rs 6 lakh-9 lakh (ex-showroom), the facelifted Grand i10 Nios will take on the likes of the Tata Tiago (Rs 5.45 lakh-7.90 lakh) and the Maruti Suzuki Swift (Rs 5.92 lakh-8.71 lakh) in the market.
