I want to buy an AMT car for around Rs 11 lakh, and decided to buy the Maruti Suzuki Baleno AGS model. However, with Maruti showcasing the Fronx at the Auto Expo I have decided to wait for it. What is the estimated price of the Fronx and will it be a better option?

Autocar India says: The Baleno and Fronx share the same mechanicals, but the Fronx – with its SUV design cues – has a lot more road presence. So we understand why you prefer it. In terms of driving, there won’t be much difference between the AGS versions of both, but the Fronx will have more ground clearance so will be better over bad roads. We are not sure of the price but expect the Fronx to be priced between the Baleno and the Vitara Brezza. If you like the Fronx, it’s worth waiting for.
