The Hyundai Venue has officially been launched at a starting price of Rs 6.50 lakh. The Venue is Hyundai’s first-ever offering in the compact SUV segment, which is one of the most popular segments in the Indian automotive market. Hyundai has also fitted the Venue with a host of connectivity features and a few segment-first features as well.
The Venue can be had with three engine options. These include an 83hp, 1.2-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine, a 120hp, 1.0-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine and lastly a 90hp, 1.4-litre, four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine. The 1.2-litre petrol motor comes paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox while the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol and 1.4-litre turbo-diesel engines come with 6-speed manual gearboxes. The 1.0-litre petrol can also be had with a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox.
