Trending Questions on Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder - Answered by Autocar Experts
I want to buy a new SUV that offers the fuel efficiency and ownership experience of a hybrid like the Hyryder, the safety and road presence of the Scorpio N, and the comfort of a 6-seater automatic petrol like the XUV700. I also want to keep this new car for around 10-12 years. Please suggest a model that can meet most of these requirements.
I want to buy a new car. My monthly running is around 4,000 km. Which option will be more budget-friendly for me, EV or hybrid? I am currently driving a Swift Dzire diesel. Please suggest which car I should buy.
My local city driving is almost 800 km every month. I go on a 2,500 km intercity highway drive every three months. I am looking for a suitable replacement for my Ford EcoSport TDCI. I have shortlisted the Maruti (Grand Vitara/Victoris) and the Toyota (Urban Cruiser Hyryder), but I am confused. Please suggest a car that is reliable, fuel-efficient, and has good maintenance support nationwide. I am looking for a perfect replacement for the Ford EcoSport, if one exists.
Planning to buy a new car. Which car is better: Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara AT petrol, Toyota Hyryder AT petrol, or Maruti Suzuki Victoris AT petrol? The first two models are expected to get a facelift.
Hi, I own a Nexon EV, which is suitable for my daily drive of approximately 100 km. I want to buy a 4/5-star-rated automatic car that should be easy for my wife to drive in the city and can also be taken out of the city without worrying about range (like with an EV). I don't want an AMT. Mileage is not a concern. My current consideration set includes the Kylaq, Taigun, Elevate, Hyryder/Victoris, and Astor. I only want to spend 4 lakhs more than the Kylaq if there is a compelling case. Please advise.
Which is the best mid-size SUV? My options are the Hyundai Venue and the Hyundai Exter. My criteria is an automatic car. Should I go for a second-hand Grand Vitara or Toyota Hyryder instead? My daily running is hardly 5,000 km a year. Please suggest which is best for me.
Iโm planning to buy a new car for my elderly parents, and Iโm confused between the Honda Elevate, Toyota HyCross, Toyota Hyryder, Skoda Slavia, and Honda City. Which car would you suggest???
The Toyota Innova HyCross is a six or seven-seater, available at a much higher price point than the other options listed. If your parents are solely chauffeur-driven, then go for the Toyota Hycross.
If they are self-driven, the Honda Elevate and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder are both good options, for their high seating, which makes getting in and out easy, as well as their user-friendliness.
The Elevate's slightly stronger engine performance and smoother CVT give it an edge over the Hyryder Petrol-AT, when it comes to driving pleasure.
We are a family of four, and my daily commute is within Delhi during peak hours. I am looking to replace my VW Ameo automatic with a hybrid. Is the mild-hybrid Hyryder a good option, or is the strong hybrid recommended? Any other options you feel are better?
Iโve been driving a Grand i10 Nios for the past 5 years. I want to upgrade to a Jeep Compass for its space and premium feel, especially since our family is growing from 4 to 5 (three children, all under 5 years). Is this a good decision, or should I consider alternatives like the Creta, Hyryder hybrid, or other models? My daily office commute is ~30 km, with little to no traffic, and I occasionally take long trips of over 600 km every alternate month.
The Jeep Compass is a very well-built and tough SUV, and also very good off-road; however, it is now quite old and rear space is not very good. This could be a problem with your family growing, as you have said.
You would be better off with a Hyundai Creta, which is a good all-round SUV, spacious, well-equipped and with good engine options. If you are concerned about fuel efficiency, then opt for the Toyota Hyryder strong hybrid as the fuel efficiency will be much better.
Just bear in mind that luggage space is compromised with the battery being placed in the boot; this could be an issue if you carry a lot of luggage on your weekend trips.
I'm looking to buy a C-segment SUV (like the Creta or Seltos). My running is low (~7,500 km/yr) but may rise if I switch jobs. I want a reliable, safe vehicle that I wonโt need to upgrade soon. Driving is ~75% city, with a highway trip once every two months. My budget is โน15 lakh max on-road. Iโm waiting for the Seltos and Sierra, but plan to buy in about six months - which car should I choose?"
We are not in a position to give you a definitive answer just yet. Prices for the Tata Sierra will only be out on the 25th of November, and we have yet to drive the model. Do stay tuned to our website and YouTube channel for the review that goes up in the coming days.
As for the Seltos, Kia will showcase the new generation model on December 10. We expect sales to start by the first quarter of 2026.
Among the current lot of SUVs on offer, the mild hybrid versions of the Toyota Hyryder and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara are good options that are reliable and low on maintenance. The Hyundai Creta is also a good choice, but it is slightly pricier to maintain than the Toyota and Maruti cars.
