    Hyundai Alcazar

    Benefits up to Rs 70,000
Hyundai's three-row, Creta-based SUV, the Alcazar, is listed with benefits of up to Rs 70,000 for both, the petrol and diesel variants this month. The rival to the Tata Safari and MG Hector Plus is available in six-seater and seven-seater guises, and gets a choice of two powertrains – a 160hp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol with manual and dual-clutch auto options, or a 116hp, 1.5-litre diesel with manual and torque convertor options. The Alcazar is a comfortable and easygoing SUV with a long equipment list, but third-row seating is quite cramped. The SUV is also due a mid-lifecycle update that’s expected to launch in the coming months.

The relatively slow-selling Hyundai Tucson gets up to Rs 50,000 off on the diesel variants, while the petrol variants are listed with Rs 25,000 off. The Tucson is powered by either a 156hp, 2.0-litre petrol or a 186hp, 2.0-litre diesel engine. Both get a 6-speed automatic as standard, but the diesel is the only one to get AWD as an option. The Tucson impresses with its space, comfort and refinement and is very well-equipped too, but top variants are quite expensive. It rivals the likes of the Volkswagen Tiguan and Jeep Meridian.

The Venue N Line, which is the sportier version of Hyundai’s compact SUV, is available with benefits of up to Rs 45,000. It is powered by the same 120hp, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine as the regular Venue, but gets minor design and mechanical upgrades.

    Hyundai i20

    Benefits up to Rs 50,000
The i20 gets an 83hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine that’s offered with either a 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic gearbox. Buyers can save up to Rs 35,000 on the CVT variants, while the MT variants get up to Rs 50,000 off. The i20 is a stylish family hatchback that has good space and premium features, but is pricey for what it is. It rivals the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, the Tata Altroz, and the Toyota Glanza.

    Hyundai Aura

    Benefits up to Rs 48,000
The Aura compact sedan has the same underpinnings and powertrain options as the Grand i10 Nios hatchback. The Aura gets discounts of up to Rs 48,000 on the CNG variants, while all other petrol variants can be had with up to Rs 28,000 off. It is a feature-rich, comfortable and family-friendly sedan, and has the advantage of a larger boot over the Nios. The Aura rivals the Maruti Suzuki Dzire and the Honda Amaze.

The Exter shares its 83hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine with the Grand i10 Nios and Aura, and is also available in CNG form. It brings SUV-like aesthetics and a slightly more elevated seating than its hatchback counterpart, but the narrow cabin isn’t very comfortable for three adults abreast. It rivals the likes of the Tata Punch and Citroen C3.
