Kia Sonet: is it the best diesel-AT SUV under Rs 15 lakh?

I'm considering giving my current car, a 2019 Ignis AMT with 60,000km on the odometer, to my dad and purchasing a new sedan or SUV under Rs 15 lakh. My monthly usage is around 1,200km, with about 60 percent of that being within the city. Which car would be suitable for my usage?

The 1.5 diesel mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission is very smooth and responsive, which makes it a great city car and an easy drive in peak traffic. For highway use, the 1.5 diesel delivers good punch and overtaking is easy. Lastly, being a diesel, the low running costs will be a big saving on your pocket for the monthly mileage you do. The only real weak point of the Sonet is the cramped rear seat but if you are self-driving, there is no better choice.
