The second offering from Hyosung as part of Motoroyale’s five-brand line-up, the Aquila Pro is priced at Rs 5.55 lakh (ex-showroom).
Power for Hyosung’s cruiser comes from a 647cc, 90-degree V-twin engine that is cooled by water and features an eight-valve DOHC setup. Mated to a 5-speed gearbox, the motor makes 75hp at 9,000rpm and 62Nm of peak torque at 7,500rpm.
The Aquila Pro is equipped with a 43mm inverted fork at the front and a hydraulic double shock at the rear, while braking duties are carried out by 300mm double discs and a single 270mm disc, front and rear, respectively. Dual-channel ABS is offered as standard on the cruiser.
Hyosung has provided an 18-inch wheel at the front and a 17-inch wheel are the rear, shod in 120/70 and 180/55 tyres, respectively. The Aquila Pro has a kerb weight of 240kg, a 160mm ground clearance and a 16-litre fuel tank.
In addition to competing with the Harley-Davidson Street 750, Hyosung’s cruiser will also rival the upcoming Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 when it arrives in the coming months.
