Ola Electric has outsold its chief competitors, Ather Energy and Revolt Motors, in February 2022, according to numbers released by the Federation of Automobile Dealers Association (FADA).
According to the report, Ola sold 3,904 units in comparison to Ather's 2,229 units and Revolt's 1,128 units.
The company's founder, Bhavish Aggarwal, however, claims that 7,000 units were delivered in February. The 3,904 units shown on the Vahan portal is because the company does temporary registrations that are not counted. However, since Ola sales data is not shared with SIAM, there is no way of verifying the claimed sales numbers.
All being said, few customers are still upset about the long waiting periods that have stretched for longer than initially promised.
