    Hyundai Verna

    2023 Hyundai Verna showroom

    Benefits up to Rs 30,000

The recently launched Hyundai Verna’s styling is polarising, but as with most Hyundais, it is quite feature-laden, with the higher variants getting autonomous driving assistance systems, too. There are two petrol engines on offer – a 115hp, 1.5-litre unit and a 160hp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol – each with their respective manual and automatic gearbox options. Total discounts and benefits on Hyundai’s midsize sedan amount to Rs 30,000.

    Maruti Suzuki Dzire

    Benefits up to Rs 40,000

The Maruti Suzuki Dzire, one of the most popular sedans in India, is available with a 90hp, 1.2-litre petrol and a 77hp, 1.2-litre CNG powertrain. The former has a 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox options, while the latter is paired with just the manual. In order to bolster sales further, discounts of Rs 40,000 are being offered on the frugal and spacious compact sedan at Maruti Arena outlets.

    Honda Amaze

    2023 Honda Amaze showroom

    Benefits up to Rs 70,000

A fierce rival to the Dzire, the Honda Amaze is a well-rounded compact sedan especially known for its roomy interior and ride quality. There’s a sole 90hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine on offer, but it comes with manual and CVT gearboxes to choose from. Honda Car India dealers are offering total benefits worth Rs 70,000.

    Skoda Slavia

    Benefits up to Rs 75,000

The Skoda Slavia is the Czech carmaker’s answer to the City, Verna, and Virtus. It gets two turbo-petrol engine options – a 110hp, 1.0-litre unit and a 150hp, 1.5-litre one – both with manual and automatic transmission options, and a competitive features list. Known for its sturdiness and good ride-handling balance, Skoda’s midsize sedan is now available with discounts in the range of Rs 75,000.

    Volkswagen Virtus

    2023 VW Virtus showroom

    Benefits up to Rs 80,000

The VW Virtus shares a lot of its mechanicals – from the two turbo-petrol engines and gearbox options to the chassis and suspension bits – with its sibling, the Skoda Slavia. But it’s also distinct in many ways, not least of them the design, interiors and drive experience. Until November 30, Volkswagen showrooms will be offering up to Rs 80,000 in benefits.

    Honda City

    Benefits up to Rs 90,000

The Honda midsize sedan comes with a free-revving 121hp, 1.5-litre petrol engine – with manual and CVT options – as well as a pricier, but far more fuel-efficient strong-hybrid petrol powerplant, which has a combined output of 126hp. Discounts and benefits of around Rs 90,000 are on offer, albeit only on the petrol Honda City.
