Jaguar has announced that it has started deliveries for the F-Pace SVR in India, months after it had opened bookings for the high-performance SUV. The Jaguar F-Pace SVR has been priced at Rs 1.51 crore, ex-showroom, India.

Jaguar F-Pace SVR: exterior and interior highlights
In line with the standard F-Pace facelift launched in India earlier this year, the F-Pace SVR gets new sleek quad LED headlamps with double-J LED daytime running lamps and adaptive driving beam feature. Additionally, the F-Pace SVR features a sportier front bumper with huge gaping air-intakes, an SVR-badged grille, revised bonnet, a sportier rear bumper and larger alloy wheels.
The cabin too has been brought in line with the standard F-Pace facelift, the biggest update being the curved 11.4-inch touchscreen running JLR’s Pivi Pro system that can receive over-the-air software updates. Other updates to the cabin include a new drive selector on the revised centre console, a bespoke SVR-spec steering wheel, and digital dials with SVR-specific graphics. It also additionally gets 3D surround camera technology and cabin air ionisation.

Under the hood, the F-Pace SVR is powered by a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine that produces 550hp and 700Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and power is sent to all four wheels via an all-wheel drive system that is standard fitment.
The performance SUV also gets a tweaked suspension and steering for sportier dynamics and Jaguar claims the SUV can sprint from 0-100kph in just 4.0 seconds.

The Jaguar F-Pace SVR rivals the likes of other performance SUVs in the country that includes the Audi RS Q8, the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S Coupe and the BMW X5M.
Upcoming Jaguar launches in India
The next major launch for the British marque in India will be the XF sedan facelift that is due in sometime in 2022. Sister brand Land Rover has also been updating and streamlining its model line-up with the introduction of the facelifted Discovery and updated versions of the Range Rover Velar and Range Rover Evoque in recent months.
