Lamborghini has confirmed the successor to the Huracan will be unveiled globally on August 16 at the Monterey Car Week. It will likely be called the Temerario (codename: 634) and is expected to be launched later this year.

Lamborghini Temerario design
Recent spy shots from Moto.es revealed the Temerario’s styling elements, which looked inspired by the flagship Revuelto. It featured Lamborghini’s signature grille with Y-motifs on the bumpers, lighting elements and wheels. At the back, the Temerario gets a high-mounted hexagonal exhaust tip and a prominent rear diffuser that’s scooped out at the edges, exposing the wheels.
Lamborghini Temerario powertrain
The Temerario will be powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged PHEV V8 powertrain, where the combustion engine will produce 800hp and 730Nm of torque – significantly more than the Huracan’s naturally aspirated V10, even in its extreme STO form. The electric motor will be positioned between the combustion engine and the dual-clutch gearbox and produce an additional 150hp and 300Nm of torque. The all-new powertrain, developed entirely in Sant’Agata, Italy, will have a 10,000rpm redline.
