    Jeep Meridian X: what’s new?

The Meridian X gets a grey roof and alloy wheels with grey accents. Over the regular Meridian, it gets additional equipment such as side moulding, puddle lamps, programmable ambient lighting, sunshades, an air purifier, premium carpet mats, optional rear-seat entertainment package and a dashcam. Considering the entry-level Limited variant (only available in manual, 4x2 form) is priced at Rs Rs 29.49 lakh, the Merdian X range starts at Rs 29.99 lakh, and goes up to Rs 40.33 lakh.

    Jeep Meridian X: powertrain

Powering the Meridian X is a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine producing 170hp and 350Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox or an optional 9-speed torque converter automatic, depending on the variant.

Jeep Meridian facelift also in the works

The Jeep Meridian is set to receive a mid-life update later this year. The updated SUV was spotted testing recently, confirming subtle styling tweaks. Cosmetic changes will likely include updated bumpers and a revised grille, but the biggest addition will be an ADAS suite. Upon arrival, it will continue to rival the Skoda KodiaqMG Gloster and the Toyota Fortuner
